Toph is the only child of the wealthy Bei Fong family, who reside in the Earth Kingdom town ofGaoling and whose symbol is a winged boar. Toph's parents are highly overprotective of her, viewing her disability as weakness. They assume that she is weak and vulnerable to everything around her. To avoid risk and danger, they kept her lessons at the beginner level of earthbending for over six years and had guards keep close watch on her at all times.
Despite her handicap, Toph has developed special skills that make her a very formidable Earthbender. Once, when she was very young, Toph ran away from home, seeking refuge in nearby caves. It was there she found companionship with the blind, earthbending Badgermoles that inhabited the caves. By imitating their movements, Toph came to harness her own earthbending abilities, becoming a master in her own right. However, she kept her talent secret from her family and Master Yu, her earthbending teacher. Toph fought frequently in Earth Rumble, an underground earthbending Lei tai tournament, under the alias "The Blind Bandit". By the time Aang and his friends discover Toph at the tournament, she had won her way to become the current champion, holding a 42-0 win-loss record prior to her encounter with Aang.[1]
In order to escape entirely from her parents' control, Toph fled secretly with Aang and his friends and volunteered herself as Aang's Earthbending instructor. Early on, Toph's defiance of authority and lack of cooperation annoyed Katara. The two eventually put aside their differences and became close friends. It is also shown in some episodes (like "The Serpent's Pass") that Toph may have had a slight crush on Sokka during the time, but it never came to be.
The Bei Fong family appears to be well-known and influential in the Earth Kingdom. In the episode "The Serpent's Pass", Toph's mere display of her family's seal was sufficient enough to gain passage on a Ba Sing Se-bound ferry, despite lacking proper documentation to obtain a ticket normally, though doing so in "City of Walls and Secrets" was not enough to allow them into a party in Ba Sing Se.

Hmmm... yg kuinget, aq nulis di kertas lipat: gambar 3 org (Laura, Lau Lau, Paloma), trs Paloma-nya lagi nendang kartu ucapannya 'MOM <3' sambil ngomong 'MOTHER SUCKS I wish I have a Fairy God Parents that can grant my wish or unwish it'. Trs kertasnya tuh kutaruh di bawah bantal semalaman. Keesokan harinya, aku ngomong dlm hati 'I wish I was not grounded'. G lama kmudian Ibuku dtg trs bilang dia bw jemputin kakakku ma adekku sekalian ke toko pengrajin kayu. Aq boleh tinggal di rmh sendirian. Boleh nntn tv ma maen komp. asal beres2 rmh n nyapu. Dlm hati saya: 'MERDEKA!!!!' jdi, stlh beres2 puas saya. Pikirku: skrg msh jm 1/2 8. Santai dulu ah, kan nanti mama pulang jam 12. sekalinya, mama pulang jam 9. kecewa deh, tp GOOD NEWSnya aq diajak ma ibunya tmnku nonton cinema bareng. Ktnya nntn Princess and the Frog. Jujurnya sih, q g trlalu tertarik. Tp pas nyampe di cinema, sekalinya nntn Zombieland! Nonton tadi seru abiez ditemani Real Popcorn Caramel, popcorn asin sama coca cola manis. Sayangnya, filmnya sih lucu. Lucu bgt. Tpi , yg g enak tuh bagian zombie-nya makan2 ithu lho... bikin sial memang. Tpi ttp seru kok nontonnya :) Pokoknya: Zombieland tuhh masuk salah satu film terbaik yg prnh kutonton. Sru abiez dehh... :)

Ngliat foto ini, jdi kebayang wkt Outbound Januari lalu... atas nama klompok 'KIRAKISHOU'... serunyaa dulu Outbound, dimulai dari nunggu bis lama bgt... nyampe di barak capek... belajar baris-berbaris siang bolong, maen drama (udh gitu jelek lagi tampilnya), tidur duluan (nyenyak tapi bangun tgh malam, ngeri!), naek tali tiga bawahnya danau (sumpah ngeri bgt!!!!!!!! >o<), &yg paling menegangkan, flying fox dari jarak ketinggian 15 meter hujan2! Pikir aja klo tiba2 pas q lg naek, talinya putus krn hujan?! wow ngeri! tp Allhamdulillah saya selamad! >.<

Hmm... hari Jumat nihh mgkn jd slh 1 hari teraneh dlm hidupku... pertama senam di sklh tadi... tmn2ku bilang senam yg baru tuhh jelek banget karena gerakannya sama lagunya... jalan di tempat~ jalan di tempat~ tangan di pinggang~ tangan di pinggang~ tengok ke kanan, tengok ke kiri~ tengok ke bawah, tengok ke atas~ jalan di tempat~ jalan di tempat~
dan seterusnya... tp jujur aja mnurutku senamnya lucu n lumayan bagus... hahaha mgkn krn q keseringan nntn toddlers film... dah terbiasa hahaha...
Kedua, lagi2 si Leyley dan Virginia ngacangin aq lg... yah terpaksa: biiiiiiiikin komiiiiiiikkk... sampe tgn rasanya berotot...
Ketiga, kelompok masakku hari Rabu kmaren gk menang... psti faktornya gara2 makanannya udah dingin... soalnya udh disiapin dari pagi sementara tim penyicipnya nilai siang2... yah sama aja... tp ada buahnya krn kelompok cowok menang... soalnya hadiahnya kotak pensil dari Stroberi ^_^ jadi kotak pensil punya Tadase kuminta, eh dia mau hehehe asyik asyik asyik! >.<
Q lg bingung nihh antara OL sama nntn Numberjacks... OL dah dari td tp msh byk hal penting. Mw nntn Numberjacks aj sih, soal.a ntar lg hri Sabtu n hari Sabtu&Minggu Numberjacks g ada.
